To provide for firms with different needs for participating, Gem provides several member levels.

Diamond members have full access to the software development process, can set product priorities, and can use the software for unlimited
sizes of derivatives portfolios, for a specified asset class. Diamond members also receive 24/5 production support. Diamond
members may also redistribute GemSoup software as part of their products, subject to licensing agreements.

Emerald members have access to the source and executable software for major beta and production releases, and can use the software
for unlimited sizes of derivatives portfolios, for a specified asset class. Emerald members receive 16/5 production support.

Ruby members have access to executable software only, and can use the software for limited sizes of derivatives portfolios, for
a specified asset class. Ruby members receive e-mail based support.

Onyx members are individual contributors who do not directly use the software to process financial transactions.
