Incentive Program
Right to participate in the contribution incentive program.
This program rewards points to contributors for each contribution (bug fix or enhancement) according to a point system.
Point totals will be calculated periodically and the leaders will be displayed on a "league table" on the Gem Soup website.
Each year, all point totals will be calculated for all contributors.
An incentive pool will be established based on 20% of the intra-year membership fees or end-of-year renewal fees for "Emerald"
and "Ruby" members.
Incentive bonuses will be calculated for each contributor based on their point total.
Onyx members will be eligible to receive their incentive payments in credit or in cash.
Other
For most tools, this membership category is not open to individuals and consultants who are full-time employees of derivatives
dealers or end-users. One exception is GemScribe.
This membership category allows members to learn more about FpML and FpML tools and contribute to the evolution of the tool
set, but it does not allow the members to use to software to process production derivatives transactions.
Onyx members may act as agents for Gem Soup. In return for identifying members, Gem Soup will compensate the Onyx member
with a finder's fee, typically 20%-30% of the first year membership fees paid by the member.
